This year is the first
year for the new Tri-Services Radio Sailing Association. (T.S.R.S.A).
Combining the old Royal
Navy Radio Sailing Association (R.N.R.S.A) established in 2003, with the Army and
RAF organisations,
the T.S.R.S.A is now
established as the main body to continue in the future.
This year saw a
successful Tri-Services Championship with 14 entries, a good attendance at the
social evening saw 4 additional guests at the dinner.
Mr Bill Green
(Championship OOD) agreed to receive a payment that equated to 50% of his
accommodation costs.
This was paid to him and
our thanks were greatly received for his services over that weekend.
The R.N.R.S.A accounts have
now been closed. The transfer of existing funds of £163.34, to the T.S.R.S.A
has been completed.
Also the R.N.R.S.A had
one asset being a “3 Dogs” One Meter yacht. This was sold to Mr David Moy for
the sum of £40.
From
This cost to the
association was £18 and has to be renewed annually. The main benefit to this is
advertisement and recognition for our association.
