Founded: Model yachts have been built and sailed in Peterhead since the middle of last century.
At that time they were models of the local fishing boats Fifies.
It is known that these yachts were raced about the 1870s and that a model yacht club was formed about 1900.
The present club was reformed in 1984. Classes sailed: IOM RM R6M also the Fifies (a local class) Club days: In the summer the club sails every Wednesday evening and once a month on Saturdays.
