SOCIAL EVENTS

SATURDAY 27 May

Welcome evening at the Blackpool and Fleetwood Yacht Club, Skipool, Thornton.

The venue is approximately 5 miles out of Fleetwood.

The event is free to all competitors and their families.

A cold buffet will be served.

7.30 pm for 8.00pm

TUESDAY 30 May

Racing will finish at approx. 1300 hours. After which competitors will be free for the day.

The President of the MYA invites all interested parties to join him full size yacht racing on the River Wyre during the afternoon. Please register your interest on arrival.

In the evening all competitors and their families are invited to come along and join up once again for a Barbecue (weather permitting).

FRIDAY 2 June

“The Crowning of the World Champion”.

The formal prize presentation evening will take place at the North Euston Hotel.

A prize draw will also be held.

A hot buffet/sweet/coffee will be served

Competitors will be free to this event. For guests and other family members tickets will cost £16 per head. Competitors will be asked on registration to let the organisers know how many will attend this function.
